VERY EXCITING NEWS!! We’re thrilled to announce that the new Rock Chalk R***e beneficiary for 2027–2030 is….

❤️💙 The O’Connell Children’s Shelter ❤️💙

For over 50 years, OCS has served the Lawrence community by supporting at-risk youth and families through emergency shelter, residential care, foster care and adoption services, mental health support, crisis intervention, and prevention programs designed to keep families together whenever possible.

Their team works every day to provide stability, safety, and support for children and families facing incredibly difficult situations, and we are so honored to partner with an organization making such a meaningful impact in our community.

What an amazing year of Rock Chalk R***e! We are so happy to have put on 5 amazing shows and showcase the hard work and dedication that goes into this organization.

During the Saturday performance we presented a check of $80,000 to our beneficiary, The Ballard Center. We are so proud to be able to present this donation!

We are so thankful to everyone that has contributed to Rock Chalk R***e! We truly couldn’t do this without the support of the University of Kansas community. ❤️💙

🎥SHOW SPOTLIGHT🎥: Check, Please!🧑‍🍳🍝

La Siena is a new restaurant run by owner Olive Bailey and chef Gordon Ragu, with belligerent maître d’hôtel Brie, jittery busser Reuben, and inattentive hostess Pepper rounding out the staff. At their soft opening for Boston’s socialites, service collapses despite Gordon’s perfect dishes, leaving disguised food critic Stu Wellington appalled. Hours later, Stu threatens to publish a scathing review that could shut the restaurant down before it even opens. Olive negotiates a second chance: Stu will return in a week for a private dinner. With only seven days to fix the chaos, the staff must pull off a comeback—or risk losing La Siena forever. Find out what happens in Check, Please!
