lol we did so good today the table fell! Hahaha kidding that was my fault. Looking forward to next Sunday and meeting all who messaged to drop then.

Reminder: drop off for business casual clothing is Sunday only from 5 to 6 pm.

There is a link to schedule for the employees to shop earlier on Sundays and yall can double or triple up if needed.

Sundays 5 to 6 pm for drop off for business casual items.

A large employer emailed me to ask if I’ll have the availability to help their employees get ready for a dress code change. I said I would be willing to get ready and here’s the best way to do it so I and local non-profits will be ready.

They declined saying it would be too much work for me.

Yet those employees are still going to be coming to me and local non-profits and it will be chaotic and stressful.

A little work upfront can change the whole vibe of a situation.

But what do I know. I just be doin s**t.

*****That being said: All sizes of business casual clothing is my main focus the next few weeks. All sizes y’all. Let’s make sure people don’t have to cut into grocery money for a new wardrobe, just to be able to work.

Well, I definitely didn’t expect the response to my recent post about a large lawyer in town reaching out for clothing for their employees to be so big. But it is what it is and I’m gonna make sure people can come in and get what they need or at least a little bit to get them started.

1.Collection for business, casual clothing of all sizes is happening Sunday evenings from 5 to 6 PM. Make sure all items are washed and cleaned recently free of pet hair and dust. Flats and comfortable shoes have been requested as well.

2. To the employees I have created a separate link for you to schedule an appointment and you can absolutely double or triple up with Other other coworkers so you can shop at the same time, since I only have limited hours.

Shop naps.

Hey loves! There’s some new people who have joined recently and I just want to say welcome. 🤗

This is a loving space. We care for and cover each other through mutual aid. Whether that be financially through direct funding, or in items at the shop. Make sure all items coming to the shop are washed recently, free of pet hair and or dust. Remember you are passing on a gift to someone else. The best it can be so it can be loved and bring value to someone else’s life.

Other ways we can care for each other:

1. Offering to to pick up and drop off items available to folks who can’t find a way to the shop.

2. Offering rides to folks who need transport in general.

3. Sharing mutual aid posts if you cannot contribute so the reach goes further and drops in front of someone who can.

4. Remembering kindness first. And that there is “enough”. There’s always enough and there’s always a way. we just have to think it through and find it, share it, direct it.

Good news! We now have a Calendly link for setting up appointments! Please head here for scheduling next weeks appointments. I will confirm on Mondays!

Reminder all visits require an appointment whether it’s to give items or shop. Even a grab and go needs scheduled. Thank you so much! This helps keep traffic organized in this beautiful lovely space that we share with other businesses.

August mutual aid needs:

Family of 6 needing a boost in support after moving. They were finally able to move out of a predatory apartment complex, but only to have one of the adults be injured and unable to work. They have a small child and could use a boost with making sure they don't stay behind in rent at their new place.
