Sonus Chamber Choir is going to Montana! 🌻🏔️

We’re honored to announce that Sonus Chamber Choir has been selected through audition to represent Kansas and the United States at the Montana International Choral Festival in Missoula in July 2027!

With that invitation comes the theme of our 2027 concert season: Sunflowers Under the Big Sky.

From performances here in Kansas to an international gathering of choirs in Montana, this season will carry our music, our mission, and the spirit of the communities that support us to new audiences. We look forward to sharing the stage, exchanging musical traditions, and making connections with artists from around the world.

We can’t wait to share this journey with you. Stay tuned for concert announcements and more from Sunflowers Under the Big Sky!

We had a very successful weekend of recording some incredible new music last week and can’t wait to share it with the world!

Special thanks to St. Peter’s in Kansas City for allowing us to recording in their exquisite venue, for engineering, all the composers who wrote the music we were humbled to bring to life, and all the musicians whose professionalism and preparation made the weekend exciting and fulfilling.

Tickets go live on March 1 for our concert of the music we recorded, which includes five world premieres! That concert will be April 12, 7p, at First Presbyterian in downtown Topeka, KS. More info in our bio!
