“I grew up doing a lot of community service back home in Salina, and when I came to Lawrence it was something I wanted to continue. I joined Natural Ties and loved hanging out with my two boys Sam and George, so I decided I wanted to hold a leadership role within the organization. Natural Ties is an amazing organization with a really cool mission and being apart of it was the most rewarding experience I had at KU.”

I love being on exec because it allows me to directly be involved with decisions about the organization and the events that we do.
