Groundwork Lawrence’s Winter Farmers’ Market continues to imagine what is possible in Downtown Lawrence.

Creative Collective is partnering with Groundwork Lawrence, as a continuation of their ‘Imagina Essex’ initiative, to assist in reimagining the Winter Farmer’s Market as more of a communal destination and event while incorporating the local creative community and Merrimack Valley-based entrepreneurs.

“Groundwork Lawrence is excited to partner with Creative Collective, through the work with the MassDevelopment TDI program, to enhance the customer experience at the GWL Winter Farmer’s Market located at Imagina Essex. We are very excited to be able to continue hosting the market and working with CC to add programming that includes local artists and entrepreneurs” states Groundwork Lawrence Deputy Director, Lesly Melendez

Currently, on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month through the end of May, Groundwork Lawrence is hosting their annual Winter Farmers’ Market, from 10am-4pm, at 238 Essex St.;

Groundwork Lawrence has sought to ensure access to the market for all buyers through the acceptance of EBT (food stamps), HIP, credit- debit cards, and GWL farmers market coupons, as well as increase the redemption of the WIC and senior farmers market

Winter Farmers Market
Feb. 12th 2022

We are very happy to continue the work we did at 238 Essex last year by supporting the Winter Farmers Market! We will be working closely with the community and Groundworks to program the market and help turn it into a destination event!

On the 12th we are happy to be having an ice sculpture installed, featuring artisans and (Great for gifts for your loved ones!) and (Need those sweets!) and a special live musical performance (stay tuned for details)
