The CRP Coalition has had great success with the Soil Collection Ceremony in 2021, the Lynching Marker Dedication in 2022, and the Margret "Sis" Vinegar Marker Dedication in 2023, but our work is far from over. There is much racial injustice and violence in the history of Douglas County that needs to be addressed; addressed in order to help heal the generational trauma that resulted from those events in order to bring peace and reconciliation for all of us, and to make certain that such events never happen again. These are the goals that the members of the CRP Coalition are working on, and we can use the help of everyone. If you are interested in joining our efforts, contact us at [email protected].
