As we begin the new fiscal year, Guitars Antiqua MP is delighted to announce that we are receiving a Community Music Grant from the D’Addario Foundation! We are thankful for their ongoing support of our organization and our community.

FUN FACT; The D’Addario Foundation was the FIRST organization to support our mission back in 2019, and they have consistently been a great source to our Classical Guitar Youth Program, providing us with monetary and in-kind support. 🎶 Field Trip! Day 2 of 2! 🎶

What a great way to wrap up our field trip adventure! This time, it was our youth groups’ turn to visit the GRAMMY Museum.

They explored the exhibitions, enjoyed the interactive rooms,, tried out some singing, gave RAP a try, and even got the chance to simulate playing in a recording studio.

This was definitely another wonderful opportunity for our students to explore the world of music beyond our classroom.

And, of course, we ended our special day with some delicious pizza! 🍕

This officially concludes our 2025–2026 session. We are so proud of all the work our students have accomplished this year and look forward to another year filled with music, learning, and great adventures!

🎶 Field Trip! Day 1 of 2! 🎶

Last week, our young guitar students had an amazing opportunity to explore the GRAMMY Museum in Downtown, Los Angeles

From watching showcases and exploring interactive rooms to discovering incredible exhibitions and learning about legendary artists, our students were engaged, curious, and having a blast! 🙌

It was more than just a field trip, it was a day of music, culture, inspiration, and learning. ❤️🎶

Guitars Antiqua is committed to enriching the lives of children through music, education, and meaningful experiences that open their minds to new possibilities. We are proud to create opportunities where our students can learn, explore, dream, and grow through music. 🎸🌎

Last Saturday, it was a pleasure to host a workshop with Alex Park, featuring a beautiful Bach performance. Alex also introduced us to the theorbo, a fascinating Renaissance-era instrument with a unique and captivating sound.

Beyond the performance, we enjoyed a valuable practice session focused on daily exercises, which is an essential part of every guitarist’s growth. Our students had the opportunity to experience his approach to practicing and gain practical insights how they can apply it to their own musical journey.

Thank you Alex for sharing your artistry, knowledge, and inspiration with us. We look forward to welcoming you back!

We are excited to welcome back Alex Park, Classical Guitarist, for a special summer workshop exclusively for our students!

🎵 A special performance by Mr. Park

✨ An opportunity to learn from a professional classical guitarist and gain valuable musical insight

We are delighted to welcome back Mr. Alex Park, an internationally acclaimed concert guitarist and dedicated educator. His artistry, experience, and passion for teaching make him an inspiring mentor, and we are honored to have him share his knowledge with our students once again.

There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing our students grow, not only as young musicians, but as confident, creative, and caring individuals.

Our Summer Session is a reminder how music brings people together. Through our Classical Guitar Youth Program, we’re creating a space where friendships are formed, confidence is built, creativity is encouraged, and every student feels seen, supported, and valued.

As a nonprofit organization, we’re proud to provide free access to high-quality music education, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and discover their potential, regardless of financial circumstances. We believe music should be accessible to all, because every young person deserves the chance to thrive.

Our Classical Guitar Youth Program continues to inspire young musicians throughout the summer, keeping them engaged, motivated, and developing their musical skills while school is on break.

Congratulations to Ashley, our last Student of the Month for the 2025/2026 session!

For the past five years, Ashley has demonstrated tremendous dedication to her classical guitar studies. Her discipline, commitment, attention to detail, and continuous pursuit of excellence have helped her develop remarkable musical skills and artistry.

Ashley consistently brings focus, determination, and a passion for learning to every lesson and performance. Her hard work serves as an inspiration to her fellow students and our entire music community.
