Big shout-out to our volunteer instructor, Jason! 🎸👏🏽

Jason has been volunteering his time with Guitars Antiqua for the past few months and has made a great commitment to supporting our beginning guitar classes. As a Music Education student at El Camino College, Jason brings great energy and enthusiasm to the classroom, and our students respond really well to his instruction and encouragement.

As he continues to learn and gain valuable classroom experience, we’re proud to support him along the way. Thank you Jason for sharing your time, energy, and passion for music with our students. We truly appreciate you! 🙌🏽🎶

New session, new guitar students! 🎸

We’re always happy to meet our new students and see their excitement and eagerness to learn, play guitar, and discover the joy of making music.

And what a great first day! They had the opportunity to play a song alongside the rest of the group and did a wonderful job! 👏🏽👏🏽

We’re so excited to see where their musical journey takes them, and we look forward to watching them grow throughout the program!

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Bodger Park! 🇪🇸 🇲🇽 🇬🇹 🇵🇪 🇨🇴

Yesterday, we had a wonderful time celebrating with families, friends, and our community. Our advanced students presented a short performance highlighting music from Spain and Latin America, and as always, they made us incredibly proud! ❤️

Through music, we celebrate our cultural heritage while appreciating and respecting the diversity that makes our community so special. We embrace unity, connection, and the power of music to bring us together.

Quick side note, we enjoyed some delicious conchitas, refreshing Jamaica, and horchata courtesy of County of Los Angeles Department of Parks & Recreation

A special thank you to LA County Parks for your continued collaboration and partnership. We are grateful to be part of these meaningful community celebrations!

We’re grateful for these opportunities to build relationships, explore future collaborations, and continue creating meaningful experiences for our young participants.

Happy Monday! Happy News! 🗞️👌🏽

As we begin the new fiscal year, Guitars Antiqua MP is delighted to announce that we are receiving a Community Music Grant from the D’Addario Foundation! We are thankful for their ongoing support of our organization and our community.

FUN FACT; The D’Addario Foundation was the FIRST organization to support our mission back in 2019, and they have consistently been a great source to our Classical Guitar Youth Program, providing us with monetary and in-kind support.
