MOMA is an acronym for "My Own Movement towards Achievement". The name MOMA was chosen because everyone achieves at their own level. Whenever life gets too tough and you feel you can't go on, you can always come home. We believe each one of us is just a day away from change:

ung out on drugs. I was one day away from selling my body for money. I was one day away from stealing my next meal. I was one day away from going to jail. I was one day away until I allowed God to step in and heal. Now, it's a New Day! MOMA'S HOUSE is a Safe House that helps those in need when life becomes overwhelming. Programs are offered to women ages 18-25 who are committed to transforming their lives. We embrace those coming out of domestic violence crisis centers or s*x trafficking situations and offer them new beginnings. Our mission is to promote the growth and development of those we serve by empowering them to experience healing and wholeness. We offer young women needed support to facilitate their new life of independence, build their self-esteem, renew their self-worth, and increase their capacity to reach their full potential. MOMA'S HOUSE is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization committed to changing the community in which it serves. In order to do so we need your help. The CEO, Board of Directors, Volunteers and Donors would like to say “Thank You” for your continued support in assistance with the implementation of the Aspirations, Mentoring, Outreach, and Motivation (AMOM) Program. Since Covid-19 hit our Nation, we were challenged with broadening our Mission and Vision. We are working with several Community Leaders and other Non-Profits to continuing being a Voice for the Voiceless. If you donated money, time, and/or in-kind; you are the reason for our Success. We are thanking God as we celebrate 15 years of being on this Journey. There have been so many "Angels Along the Way", and four of them have transitioned to Paradise. We are asking for continued healing for their families. Rest in Paradise Carrol Foster, Patricia Hazen, Earnest Washington, and Alonzo “Scooter” Powell Jr. You will forever be in our Hearts.
