Be prepared for a weather delays today - Thursday - morning. If there is lightning close, we will be delaying until it is safe to distribute.

AUGUST food distribution is —
Thursday and Friday

AUGUST 20th and 21st
9AM UNTIL NOON

The pantry is open to WAYNE County WV residents who meet the TEFAP federal guidelines. Please have a drivers license, ID, or current utility bill for proof of residency.
THIS IS A REGULAR DISTRIBUTION. We distribute monthly on the third Thursday and Friday.
Please be patient and understanding with us, everyone is a volunteer and working hard to help.
Stay in your vehicles for your safety and ours.
The entrance is on the south side of the
Lavalette United Methodist Church. Everyone will drive down behind the church and into lanes if we are busy. Please slow down. Once you pull onto the lower lot, you will need to wait your turn to be processed.
Only (3) three families per vehicle are allowed! Please be present to pick up.
The amount of food we distribute varies monthly.

We are working between the lightning as we can. We have to put safety first. Please be patient and if you come and the line isn’t moving, know that we will start will the lightning passes again.

Please remember that if a storm moves in during pantry, we will need to pause and will restart after the storm passes and it is safe to do so. It is important to keep our volunteers as well as clients safe.
Slow down on the parking lots. Please stay in your vehicle. We have had several create dangerous situations in recent months.
Thursday May 21 and Friday May 22nd from 9am until noon both days.
Limit of three families per vehicle. This is a policy shared by Facing Hunger and other county pantries.
