“I never knew you.”

Those words are uncomfortable.

They also present a challenge—actually an invitation—to step into a world that is unfamiliar and terrifying, a world of love and healing. Few actually know that world, and we fear the unknown. So we resist. We fight and kick and scream and claw to stay securely blanketed in the ignorance of our unknowing.

So we remain unknown.
