Got Corn Allergies? The USDA has just deregulated yet another toxic GMO corn - Bayer-Monsanto's MON 95275 - that produces two insecticidal proteins and a double-stranded RNA transcript from an inverted repeat sequence designed to match the western corn rootworm. The corn is registered with the EPA as a pesticide because that's exactly what it is: a pesticide. The insecticides are in the corn ad can't be washed off. To make matters worse, it's genetically engineered to tolerate spraying with multiple toxic herbicides, potentially up to five. These endocrine-disrupting, carcinogenic herbicides are absorbed into the corn and also can't be washed off.

This corn will be used for ethanol, conventional animal feed, and put into conventional processed foods that use corn, like Coca-Cola and Kellogg's Corn Flakes.

Products made with toxic GMO corn belong in the pesticide aisle, not on grocery stores' food shelves. If you have allergies to conventional corn products, now you know why.

Investigations have found that forestry is now one of the fastest growing uses of glyphosate in America. Despite billions of dollars in settlements Bayer is having to pay as a result of this very chemical causing people cancer, it is being sprayed over tens of thousands of acres where people hike, camp, hunt, or live near.

This is unacceptable. While Bayer fights to avoid accountability in court, people just trying to get fresh air this summer will be left unknowingly exposed to glyphosate.

Miles of land covered.
Nature replaced with metal and glass.

We were promised a cleaner future —
but no one talks about the cost
to the land, the wildlife,
and the communities pushed aside.

Saving the planet shouldn’t mean
losing the very things that make it worth saving.

There’s a difference between real stewardship
and blind solutions that look good on paper.

Some of us still remember
when “taking care of the Earth”
meant protecting it — not covering it.
