Partners In Ministry

Partners In Ministry Partners In Ministry (PIM) a United Women in Faith National Mission Institution, Community Education Center (501)(c)(3) non-profit. " HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

"Instilling Hope; Empowering Change...One Family At A Time. Given the increase in the number of people we serve, we have outgrown our current facilities and are faced with expanding our IMPACT to reach the most vulnerable … our children and youth. This campus expansion will build a 20,000 square foot SECU Community Education Center on 11 acres of land. The Center will house dedicated space for our

older youth and senior citizens, a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) computer lab, an industrial kitchen, a cafeteria, multiple classrooms for parenting classes, and family meetings, counseling & office space, and storage space for our housing and food ministry. The Center will also house the first and only community “Gymnatorium” in Scotland County. WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THE COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER?

A new Community Education Center will expand and enhance the services and programs we offer to the community. PIM has aggressively worked to address some of the greatest needs in our region, which includes dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline through education and job training; health and safety; and socio-economic development. This new facility will greatly expand PIM's programmatic opportunities beyond the 70-year old classroom buildings that currently serve hundreds of our children for school-year and summer programs. This community hub will enable PIM to expand its youth and family services, provide gathering space for community events and housework teams to expand critical home repair and disaster relief efforts. Our mission is to be in ministry with the families we serve. Our overall goal is to help families living in poverty to become self-sufficient through a hands-up approach. We accomplish this by allowing those in need to become directly involved in addressing their own needs through programs and services. Those utilizing the services will respond not just to their own needs but the needs of other community members experiencing similar social challenges thus helping them develop a sense of community leadership, ownership, and stewardship that will lead to community-based efforts and encourage those in poverty to assume greater responsibility for their future.

ADDING TO THE MISSION...
The Community Education Center will not replace our old buildings but will be an extension of these buildings, providing additional space for our participants while engaging in programs and services. The Community Education Center symbolizes a deepened commitment to our community and will help us expand our reach throughout the communities. Partners In Ministry is pleased to offer Naming Opportunities as a way for donors to support PIM by making a gift to dedicate the Community Education Center’s building and rooms on the Center’s campus. Naming opportunities provide a way to leave your own legacy, to make a tribute or memorial gift in honor of someone special, or recognize an individual whose life has been an inspiration to others. Additionally, you may support by leaving a legacy by investing in a wonderful community asset with Naming Gift Opportunities for the Community Education Center or becoming a Partners In Hope Donor to help fund the construction of the Center that will serve our community for generations to come. All donations are tax-deductible. Any and all support is greatly appreciated. We’re just excited to get to work! For additional information on Naming Opportunities or Partners In Hope, please contact us by phone at 910-277-3355 or by email at [email protected]. Thank you for being a part of our community and our story. Our service area includes Richmond, Robeson, and Scotland counties.

We want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to Mr. Smith and Country Boyz Kitchen for their generosity in providing a meal for our students during our end-of-year celebration and for our staff as we kicked off summer orientation!

Your kindness helped make our celebration even more special for our students as they wrapped up a successful school year, and it also gave our staff a meaningful moment to come together, recharge, and prepare for the summer ahead.

We are truly grateful for partners like you who continue to invest in our students, our staff, and our mission here at Partners In Ministry.

Moments like these remind us how powerful community support can be. Thank you, Mr. Smith!

Building the Future: Construction Begins on Our New Facility

Exciting things are happening at Partners In Ministry! We are proud to announce that construction has officially begun on our new 20,000 square foot building. This milestone marks a major step forward in our mission to serve and uplift our community.

This new facility represents growth, opportunity, and a deeper commitment to the individuals and families we support every day. As the foundation is laid and the structure begins to rise, so does our vision for expanded programs, enhanced services, and greater impact.

We are especially excited to take you along on this journey. Over the coming weeks and months, we will be sharing updates, photos, and behind-the-scenes looks at the progress as it unfolds. From the first stages of construction to the final touches, you’ll be able to witness this transformation with us.

At Partners In Ministry, we believe that this building is more than just a space—it’s a symbol of hope, growth, and the power of community support. None of this would be possible without the encouragement and partnership of those who believe in our mission.

Stay tuned as we continue to build not just a structure, but a stronger future for all.
