My heart sit low right above my stomach. Inclement weather prevent us from having our Cub Scout Fun Day due to rain on set up day and rain throughout the day today. It had to be postponed with a selected date of Saturday November 1st. I’m standing outside looking out into a gloomy day but no rain since 11am.

Sigh… I guess it saved my paper props from getting ruined and ready to use Saturday November 1st.

What an awesome time at the Sky High Airshow at the Laurinburg-Maxton Airport! Scouts from Troops 444/4444 and 447/1447 volunteer at the airshow and had a great time watching some of the airshow.

Just a reminder, our yard sale starts tomorrow at 7 AM. Join us for a pancake breakfast fundraiser or a hotdog snack fundraiser all proceeds go to cup camp and summer camp.

Our Pinewood Derby went viral. Thank you, Tuesday cruisers for hosting us and for inviting us to do it again next year.

We had so much fun and the Tuesday cruisers made it extra special for our Cubs and scouts

Thanks to scout Troop 444 Delvon Peralta for assisting in wood tools knife safety class and in hands on help with cooking and campfire program.

It’s that time again, we are preparing for our Pinewood Derby Race Day on March 22.
Cubs scouts, Parents & Leaders started on the hard work of building their cars for speed!

This years theme is “The Mad House” kids are allowed to wear funny hats with their uniforms!

Our first workshop was Designed & Cut. Here are some pics kids learned about safety when working with wood tools.

What an amazing weekend.
SCOUT NIGHT at the Marksman Hockey Game we had scout activities and a campout sleepover on the ice rink.
Scouts got to meet some super heroes for photos since it was super heroes night as well.

Also our lost scout got remembered, thank you Joey Hout, the Crown coliseum to all the Marksman and their guest team for giving a our recently passed scout Jessy a moment of silence.

Thank you scouts and leaders for a wonderful scout Sunday.
Our Blue & Gold celebration got postponed due to the weather we had on Sunday but we will have our Scouting America birthday pizza party on Tuesday for our meeting.
Along with designing and cutting of our pinewood derby cars.
