Laurens County DSS is excited to host our “Bags of Blessings” Holiday Food Drive from December 1 through December 19 to help support families in need throughout our community this season. This initiative provides a meaningful opportunity for all of us to come together and make a positive impact during the holidays.

We invite community members to participate by donating non-perishable food items. Donations may be dropped off at our new Laurens County DSS office in Clinton, where a collection box is available.

We are also pleased to share that Thornwell, United Ministries, and Geraldine’s Kitchen will serve as distribution partners for the donated items. Each organization has expressed enthusiasm for supporting this effort and helping us reach families and children throughout Laurens County.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping us spread kindness and care during this holiday season.

Christmas for Kids season is approaching! Applications will be available in our front lobby starting next Monday 10/27. You do not need to bring anything with you to pick up an application. The deadline for completing the C4K process is November 26th.
