Beautiful Butterfly, Inc. was created to inspire and encourage a beautifully diverse community of girls and young women to accomplish their most daring endeavors. This organization will provide a professional mentoring program in the areas of health, education, finance, dress and language etiquette and community service through exciting and engaging workshops, seminars and community outreach oppor
tunities. This organization’s vision is stemmed from 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse 17 where God says "therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creature, old things have passed away; behold all things have become new". Using this scripture as our corporation’s foundation we believe that there can be a great transformation that can take place within the lives of young girls and young women when they can clearly see the purpose God has desired for their lives - to fly. The image of a caterpillar transitioning and morphing into a Beautiful Butterfly truly embodies our corporations Mission Statement:
“To inspire a generation of young women (caterpillars) to transform into the beautiful women (butterflies) God has created them to be.”
Just as a Butterfly has a complete life cycle, meaning that there are four separate stages each of which looks completely different and serves a different purpose in the life of the Butterfly. We believe that there are different stages of development within a young women’s life that she must complete in order to successfully transition to the next – thus becoming the woman she was created to be. Our logo -the Butterfly is relevant to our organizations vision, Transforming lives from Caterpillar to Butterfly because it represents:
