This past Saturday night was our much anticipated "Light the Path" Gala... and it was AMAZING!!

We would like to thank everyone that came out and supported Beautifully Mended.

Our Board of Directors, our volunteers, and our sponsors, we couldn't have done it without each of you!

Thank you Bethlehem Community Church for letting us use your beautiful REC Facility, and thank you to Ken Bullock and his team for catering such a wonderful meal.

Thank you Rocky Mitchell for the media/sound/lighting, it was perfect.

A huge THANK YOU to CC's Portraits for the awesome pictures!

Thank you to Kiwanis Club of Laurel for having us and letting us share about the vision of Beautifully Mended!

The Kiwanis Club of Laurel was pleased to hear about the Beautifully Mended ministry founded by Lake Church Pastor Brent Gilbert and his wife Candice at the club’s Wednesday, August 19, 2026, meeting.

Beautifully Mended will provide a safe, faith-based refuge where the ministry can lead women from brokenness to wholeness through a Christ-centered recovery. Helping to restore dignity, renew hope, and empower these ladies to walk in their God-given freedom and purpose is the goal of the ministry.

Beautifully Mended is holding a “Light The Path Gala” fundraiser on Saturday, August 29th, at 7:00pm at Bethlehem Community Church. Tickets are available by calling 601-498-6007.
