Laurel park service tonight:

We were thrilled to see Pastor Saumell and his church return tonight.
The praise and worship was incredible 👏🙏
He shared from Psalm 46 .

What an encouragement it is to know that our refuge and strength lies in the Lord.

As if that isn’t enough, he reminds us that we ought to be still and know that he is God.

Wow, that in itself is mind blowing , that the Almighty God loves us so much that he is willing to be our protecter and defender and that we don’t have to fight, he does for us, and if God is for us ,who can be against us🙏

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.”

Laurel Park service tonight:

Thanks to Carlos for sharing tonight, he has really become a part of our racetrack family. He also is from The Church of Severn Run.
This divine connection is getting stronger and stronger

Carlos shared from Numbers 13

“The Lord said to Moses, “Send some men to explore the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. From each ancestral tribe send one of its leaders.” So at the Lord’s command Moses sent them out from the Desert of Paran. All of them were leaders of the Israelites.”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

He reminded us that Gods instruction and commandments are non negotiable

Disobedience has serious consequences.

Because of their fear and doubt the entire generation remained in the desert until they all passed away then the promise if the land flowing with milk and honey became a reality.

Only Joshua and Caleb defended the word of the Lord , despite seeing giants they trusted the Lord with all their hearts and God honored their faith.

Obey the word of God and live by it and these promises become real :

God's Promises
1. Promise of Peace:
In John 14:27, Jesus says: "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
2. Promise of Protection:
Psalm 91:11 says: "For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways."
3. Promise of Provision:
Philippians 4:19 declares: "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
4. Promise of Victory:
1 Corinthians 15:57 says: "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
• These are just a few of them. But remember, He has promised you victory. So, whatever you are going through something , let Jesus Christ in, and He will give you peace and victory. Even if you see it as a loss, He has already won the victory for you.

Laurel Park Service:

"For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive." — 1 Corinthians 15:22

The Contrast - Paradox of Two Environments Scripture Reading: 'For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.' - 1 Corinthians 15:22 The Devotional Focus Humanity's spiritual history is defined by two vastly different environments, two representative men, and two opposing choices. When Adam was tested, he had every advantage but failed. When Jesus, the Last Adam, was tested, He faced extreme physical hardship but emerged victorious. The paradox highlights that external conditions do not dictate spiritual faithfulness.

It took Jesus the man/ God to rectify the fall of the garden and rectify Gods master plan for mankind.
Praise be to God the Father in heaven for he is gracious, his mercies endureth forever🙏

We applaud Love Wins for successfully hosting a pantry distribution event, made possible through the partnership between Mr. Bill Knauf ( MJC)and Racetrack Chaplaincy of Maryland, bringing joy to the horseracing community. The generous gift bags, containing snacks, drinks, cookies, fresh fruit, and clothing, were warmly received by attendees during the morning session. Although the high demand resulted in the swift distribution of all items within 15-20 minutes, gratitude is extended to the Maryland Jockey Club for their support and to Oscar and Maico for their expertise in forklift operation.

Thank you to Cindy for giving up her Saturday morning to drive the truck to the racetrack

Laurel Park Chaplaincy Service Tonight:

Welcome back Carlos, Jackie and their baby , it was good to see their baby for the first time👏❤️

Happy birthday to Lucho, who continues to find strength in the Lord. It is truly miraculous how the Lord delivered him from alcoholism.

YTonight, Pastor Wil and his congregation joined us, sharing a poignant message about how society rejected Joseph and Mary at the time of Jesus' birth, much like the humble surroundings of a racetrack. Unfortunately, people's behaviors haven't changed much, and many still reject Christ today. Their hearts remain hardened, playing with eternity. The Bible reminds us that Jesus will return, and it will be too late for those who haven't opened their hearts to God's love. Salvation is found solely in Christ, and the price paid on the cross was immense. The resurrected Christ will return as judge; thus, today is the day for repentance, and delaying might be perilous.

Thank you Pastor Wil for always being a blessing to our racetrack family.

As another Preakness day passes into memory, gratitude fills our hearts for the time shared with TC Williams. Lisa's remarkable contributions over both event days were truly commendable. Our thanks go out to the RTCM board members, participants and supporters for the Preakness, an event that stands out at Laurel for its demonstration of collective effort and camaraderie. Certain photographs from the event have left a lasting impression, notably those capturing moments of spiritual unity among the brothers in the jocks room and gate crew. Noting gives me greater joy than to come together with so many to lift up the name of Jesus. I had these gentlemen in the jocks room, not only praying together, but encouraging me too, that should give you an indication of the level of faith in the jocks room and gate crew.
We as the Chaplaincy are honored to follow in the footsteps of those gone before us and be guided by the Racetrack Chaplaincy of America, Thank you “Salty Roberts and Don Dean, and “Thank you” Dan Waites and Omar Aracena for being such amazing leaders, your leadership has been instrumental in all the progress in Maryland 🙏
