Elaine Blyden Hutchinson is a devoted woman of God. She is dedicated to bringing the word of God, and imparting her experience with cancer to the masses, through drama. She believes that “sight and sound” impacts lives. DIVINE REVELATION ENTERTAINMENT & EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, INC. (D.R.E.E.S, INC), a non-profit corporation, has proven just that. Elaine is a graduate of Brooklyn College, New York w

here she minored in Theatrical Arts. Throughout her college years, she was aware of her calling to go into the Arts, specifically acting and writing, but became disenchanted with the entertainment arena. She settled into banking, but was never completely satisfied as a banker. Her first love, the theater, haunted her until she relented and returned to it in 1998. Elaine lives her life under the conviction of Jeremiah 29:11, NIV: “For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This belief, tethered to the great commission of Mark 16:15, NIV, ” Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creations“, forms the foundation for the ministry. Elaine’s hope, and DIVINE REVELATION ENTERTAINMENT & EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, INC. organization’s goals, are to create a widespread awareness and actionable steps towards eradicating cancer individually, and collectively; to spread the message of salvation and submission to God and to share the knowledge that God’s will is to bring about the best for our lives, if we believe. She lives by the words of her favorite verse, Philippians 4:13, NKJV, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me“, and wants others to have the hope, the comfort and the encouragement embedded in His word.
