Dolly Parton showed us that loving children means believing in their potential and giving them every opportunity to dream, learn, and thrive.

Her heart for literacy and her lifelong investment in children changed countless lives and will continue to inspire generations.

What a beautiful legacy. 💙

Is the Lord leading you to pour into the lives of survivors of sexual exploitation? If so, drop your email in the comments, and we will begin emailing volunteer information out next week, with a date of an in-person training night later this month for all volunteers. We know that God is raising up women in our community to pray, serve, and lead alongside us as He restores His daughters. We can’t do what we do without volunteers! Seek how He would have you be apart of this ministry, and obey accordingly. ❤️

Thirty-six years ago today, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) reaffirmed a simple but powerful truth: disability should never define a person's opportunity.

Every day at MDRS we have the privilege of seeing that promise come to life. Through every success story, every new job, every student reaching a goal, every individual gaining greater independence, and every barrier removed, we're reminded that inclusion changes lives.

The ADA laid the foundation. Together, we continue building on it by creating opportunities, expanding access, and empowering Mississippians with disabilities to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.

Today, we celebrate the progress we've made, the people whose stories inspire us, and the work that still lies ahead.

Happy 36th Anniversary to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
