Hi GAIA friends! I am launching a kickstarter campaign to fund a personal air quality monitor using the Sun and your existing smartphone. This work is based on Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab research. Help us make global citizen scientists and boost air quality monitoring! http://kck.st/1FRd5TQ

Become a citizenScientist! Measure the air quality with the pricey smartphone you already own.

Even if humankind manages to limit global warming to 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit)--as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change recommends--future generations will likely have to deal with a completely different world.
