Food Pantry and Benevolence Fund Needs
Funds and supplies at the food pantry are running very low. Please consider the many families we help with boxes of food from our food pantry, as well as those we assist with emergency funds to provide heating, utilities, and fuel in urgent circumstances.
We thank God for the generosity of our community. If you are able to donate the goods listed in this graphic, please bring them to your local congregation.
Funds may be donated (deposited) directly at Security Bank into the Laurel-Concord Ministerial Association benevolence fund. You can also drop a check in your local offering plate made out to:
Laurel-Concord Ministerial Association
and put in the memo “Benevolence.”
We thank you for all you do to help us help those in need. Your local Ministerial association strives to be good stewards of our resources and provide a “Hand-up” rather than a mere “Hand-out.”
“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:6-8)
God’s grace will supply our community need through your kindness in giving,
In Christ,
Pastor Jeff Warner, Chairman
Laurel-Concord Ministerial Association
