This month, we celebrate the Asian American and Pacific Islander authors and illustrators whose stories enrich our bookshelves, inspire young readers, and highlight the diverse experiences of AAPI communities.

At Our Kids Read, we believe every child deserves to see themselves reflected in the books they read and to learn from stories that broaden their understanding of others.

Our Kids Read continues to inspire young minds through the power of literacy, community, and opportunity!
This year, 45 students from a Trenton middle school spent the day enjoying gifted books, a library tour, storytelling, and an exciting glimpse into campus life.
A huge thank you to the Princeton Classes of 1977, 1981, 2001, and 2021, along with the APGA, for volunteering your time and helping make this experience truly unforgettable for our young readers!
