This Christmas season, we were overwhelmed with gratitude for our incredible community. Because of your generosity, kindness, and willingness to give, Hanai Angel Tree was able to provide over 300+ Christmas gifts to foster children on Hawaiʻi Island 🎁❤️

This year we were able to expand our reach to the west side of the big island for the first time and we look forward to seeing how God continues to grow this ministry in 2026.

Each tag taken, each gift purchased, and each donation made a real and lasting impact. You helped bring joy, hope, and the reminder that these keiki are deeply loved and not forgotten, especially during the holidays.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every individual, family, church, and organization who partnered with us to make this possible. We truly could not do this without you.

Congratulations to our amazing founder and president, Emily Rogers and her husband of 20 years, Joey! Happy 20th Anniversary!

Congratulations to our fifth and final Sweetest Sweetheart couple Joey and Emily Rogers.

These “sweethearts” win our grand prize of a 1-night Ocean View stay at Ala Moana Hotel . Congratulations to all of our winners and mahalo to everyone for all of your great submissions!

Joey and Emily have been married for almost 20 years and are parents to 12 children – 3 through birth, 6 adopted, and 3 foster children. Over the past 10 years, theyʻve fostered medically fragile keiki and even started a non-profit that supports foster families through programs like the "Hanai Angel Tree" and "Keiki Klosets Free Stories for Families." For these ʻSweetest Sweethearts,ʻ with each child they welcome into their home – their love for each other continues to grow.
