"Africa" is the name given to the continent named after the Roman Italian General who invaded ...and conquered the people of the continent whose name is SCIPIOS AFRICANUS. "Africa" is not the Name of Our People, it is name given to the Conquered people of SCIPIOS AFRICANUS and that is why the people were forced by European Colonials to learn the language "AFRIKAANS" if "Africa" were the original name of the people then you would not have to force the people to learn how to speak African!!! We have been separated not only Physically, but Mentally, and most detrimentally we have castrated Spiritually from Alkebu-Lan and upon return to the Land. You will see that European Colonization has completely stripped the Land of our Culture, our Way of Life and all Remnants of Alkebu-Lan leaving the people (now indoctrinated to be properly called Africans) longing more for the American Dream than for the culture of Alkebu-Lan which has been largely lost to our people since the time that 80% of West Africans were taken out of West Africa and placed in Slavery till now. The only thing left of Alkebu-Lan...is us and years of Oppression has placed us in a process of Natural Selection that has left only the strongest of us to survive to build what will be the Rebirth of our Nation. These Clothes, represent more than- "Africa", "A Brand", "A Look" its more than a "Look" its deeper than that! From the Adinkra Symbols, the language of the Alkebu-Lan people from the West Africa region denoting Strength, Courage, Wisdom, Knowledge, Love, Enlightenment and highlighting the many other foundational principles of who we are as a people- embroidered right on the dashikis by Black Hands from Ghana and South Africa to the numerous Hand Stitched designs and the different combinations between the 120 different Adinkra Symbols and multiple variations of over 256 different styles of design Alkebu-Lan Expressions is the Hope of "Africa". Michael B. Pratt, a business mogul born in the United States of America, specifically Los Angeles is set to build an ultra-modern film studio in Ghana. The facility is said to have an estimated value of $350 million and will sit on a land area of 321-acres.

The entrepreneur was enstooled as a development chief in the Asebu kingdom in the Central region of Ghana. Following his new status, Mr. Pratt will now be addressed by Royal name Nana Dakrabo I, Mpuntuhene (which literally translates as Development Chief).

He promised to replicate Hollywood in the west African country with the state-of-the-art facility upon completion. “I was born in Los Angeles and raised around celebrities and executives. Essentially, I was raised around Hollywood and now I will bring Hollywood to Ghana,” he said.

He revealed that, the project will be constructed in collaboration with Washington D.C based WEG Studios together with popular figures such as musician and producer Koby Maxwell, actor Michael Blackson and many others.

The facility will be named Dakrabo 1 Studios. He stated in an INSTAGRAM POST that, the facility will have features such as a film & music school, screening theaters, a concert hall, office space, a hotel forecast and crews, and most importantly, seven soundstages, a 240-acre backlot, a blue-screen water tank, a recording studio, pre/post-production facilities.

Once again the Diaspora takes Africa one step in the right direction!

Generational Responsibility

Inherent in this discussion of deriving purpose from cultural and historical identity is a necessary reference to and focus on generational responsibility. Fanon has posed this responsibility in compelling terms. He says, "each generation must, out of relative obscurity, discover its mission, (and then) fulfill it or betray it.The mission he suggests is always framed within the larger context of the needs, hopes and aspirations of the people. And each of us is morally and culturally obligated to participate in creating a context of maximum freedom and development of the people.

Joining Personal and Social Purpose

Finally, Nia suggests that personal and social purpose are not only non-antagonistic but complementary in the true communitarian sense of the word. In fact, it suggests that the highest form of personal purpose is, in the final analysis, social purpose, i.e., personal purpose that translates itself into a vocation and commitment which involves and benefits the community. Economic Self-Reliance
Ujamaa also stresses self-reliance in the building, strengthening and controlling of the economics of our own community. The assumption here is that we must seize and maintain the initiative in all that is ours...

Obligation of Generosity
Also, inherent in Ujamaa is the stress and obligation of generosity especially to the poor and vulnerable. In the Book of Ani, we are taught that generosity is its own reciprocal reward...

This, of course, finds its modern philosophical expression in our social thought and struggles, as a people, around and for social justice. And this struggle is not simply to be generous to the poor and vulnerable but ultimately to end their poverty and vulnerability so that they too can live a decent, undeprived and meaningful life. For only in such a context will they be able to pursue the truly human without the limitation imposed by poverty, deprivation or the debilitating struggle for just life's basic necessities.

Economic Self-Reliance

Ujamaa also stresses self-reliance in the building, strengthening and controlling of the economics of our own community. President Nyerere has said self-reliance in Ujamaa means "first and foremost... that for our development we have to depend upon ourselves and our own resources."45 The assumption here is that we must seize and maintain the initiative in all that is ours, and that we must harness our resources and put them to the best possible use in the service of the community. This, he says, does not mean denying all assistance from or work with others but of controlling policy and shouldering the essential responsibility for our own future.
