4 Ways to Save the Earth, Fashionably!

1. Buy Less Stuff! Create a capsule wardrobe and mix n match.
2. Avoid fast fashion! Buy higher quality pieces that last longer.
3. Donate clothes that you have enjoyed. Try donating to actual people not organizations that will sell them.
4. Upcycle the clothes you already own. Mend, tie-dye, crop, cut it open, etc.

1. Recycle clothes - Every DAB knows she can wear her clothes twice! We are creative enough to make it look fresh every time!

2. Donate clothes - If you don't like donating to Goodwill or Salvation's Army, there are churches and local organizations happy for your discards.

3. Upcycle and Crop - Crop that sweatshirt, turn those jeans to cut-offs, or get extra fly with new designs on old gear.

4. Buy Secondhand - Thrift shops for the win!

5. Avoid Fast Fashion - The Sheins and Fashion Novas of the world are ruining our environment! Don't support them. Working together to put them out of business will save our planet.

6. Mend and Tailor - keep your clothes out of the landfill by repairing them. Take them to your local tailor/seamstress or learn how to do it yourself.

7. Swap with Friends - what's more fun than a swap party with friends? You know you can freak it better than her anyway 😉

Preppin for thritin! Make the trip smoother with some quick prep!

1. Wear a crossbody or fannypack. Way easier than a purse, backpack or tote, especially with getting thru tight aisles.

2. Carry water and/or snacks. Grapes or nuts and a bottle of water in your crossbody make great pick me ups.

3. Map the best routes to save gas/time. Certain neighhorhoods have clusters of thrift shops. Plan it out beforehand.

4. Budget! Don't overspend! It's not a deal if it's coming out of your rent money to buy. Set a budget, bring cash or bring just the card for thrifting.
