We put out the call — and you answered! Thank you so much to everyone who participated in “God’s work. Our hands.” day of service by assembling kits! Through your collective efforts, more than 350 kits are being distributed to individuals in programs who will tangibly feel your support as they wash their hair, put on their pajamas and more.

If you are interested in continuing this important work, send us an email at [email protected]! We would love to partner with you to continue to spread Christ’s love to our neighbors.

The LSS housing team is working to create a curriculum for faith-based organizations around understanding homelessness. As a facilitator, you will work with the LSS team to help develop each of the four sessions, as well as implement them in your own congregation. Facilitators will also receive a $1,000 stipend for your help!

You can make a positive impact for an older adult in your community. Volunteers are needed throughout the state!
lssmn.org/volunteer/caregiver

The number of Minnesotans stepping into caregiver roles to ensure the health and well-being of older adults is climbing. While caregiving is often meaningful and rewarding, it can also come with its own challenges.

To support our neighbors serving as caregivers, LSS Caregiver Support & Respite volunteers spend time with older adults so family caregivers can rest, recharge and take care of daily needs. Consider becoming a volunteer to make a positive impact!
