Today is the day! We are beyond excited to announce the launch of our new website, which showcases a bolder, more professional version of ourselves. MAKO (Miami Advocate Kids for the Ocean) is a community based organization that strives to get kids involved in marine conservation efforts through community outreach and education. 🌊 Over the course of the last few months, we have had lots of time to reflect on who we are as an organization and what we are striving to achieve on a daily basis. In the ever-changing climate of today’s modern world, we want to project ourselves as a symbol of optimism for our ocean’s futures.
Behind closed doors, we have been working tirelessly towards projecting ourselves into the world as the next generation of ocean activists. We have partnered with countless incredible non-profit organizations. In doing so, we have collaborated on a number or projects and initiatives, while also gaining invaluable mentorship from some of the biggest names in the field of marine conservation.
To all of our supporters, mentors, friends, and colleagues- thank you so much for riding this wave with us. 🌊💙 We are still at the grassroots stage, and this is only the beginning for MAKO. We can’t wait to share with you all of the projects that we have been working on these past few months.
