The Band of Helping Hands was formed in 2012 to benefit at-risk children and young adults in our tri-state neighborhoods. Our organization supports and funds activities for persons in our area in the form of mentoring. Serving children and young adults who are faced with special needs, challenging home situations, medical complications and financial constraints. We provide support, encouragement, and experiences for children and young adults around the arts, education, and athletics, providing them possibilities and opportunities. Our ultimate goal is to help individuals become active in their community and better their lives. We participate in many awareness and fundraising events
