We encourage you to join the PTSA (Parent/Teacher/Student Association) and come to the meetings to learn more about our school and share your ideas throughout the year. If you are interested, please fill out a membership form. The PTSA hosts Celebrations for high school classes, as well as our yearly Teacher/Staff Appreciation luncheon. Our main goal is to support our school and the students while

providing opportunities for student leadership development in the areas of community service, gratitude and charity. We stand by our logo, PTSA, Parent Teacher Student Association. Your ideas and input are greatly appreciated during our meetings. PTSA Looking for New Members and Volunteer Help

The PTSA is always looking for new members and volunteers to help with any of our fundraisers and special events throughout the school year. If you would like to volunteer to help the PTSA, please fill out a volunteer form and select your choice(s). We are especially looking for A Fundraising Chairperson, as well as a Volunteer Coordinator. If you are interested in any of those positions, please send us a message here, or to our email. Have you heard about GleeBoxx? Founded by Shaker High School junior Shreya Sharath, GleeBoxx is a youth-led nonprofit initiative, grounded in the belief that small acts of kindness can create powerful change. GleeBoxx creates thoughtfully curated care packages that combine essential items with personalized touches such as handwritten notes and small, joyful additions - and you can help! Shreya is currently organizing a large-scale drive to distribute 240 GleeBoxx care packages to elementary school children here in North Colonie. Scan a QR code to learn more and donate to this great cause!
