Meet Andy Lott, Rainbow Alum!
Director & Choreographer for
"Disney's High School Musical"
Fall 2026 📣🏀🎤
Growing up, Andy Lott wanted to be a dolphin trainer. But when he realized the real job involved less performing for audiences and more fish buckets and pool maintenance, he pivoted toward the theater instead. Honestly, it worked out pretty well.
Andy is an arts educator, choreographer, director and creative learning designer whose work lives at the intersection of storytelling, performance and community. A graduate of the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and a former Rainbow Company Ensemble member, Andy spent his early years developing his artistic voice within the same program where he would later return as a teaching artist, choreographer and director.
He went on to earn his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from Marymount Manhattan College before performing nationally in tours of "The Wizard of Oz," "Bye Bye Birdie" and "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie."
After returning to Las Vegas in 2014, Andy became a high school arts educator with the Clark County School District, teaching dance and theater. He also began choreographing, directing and teaching at Rainbow Company on productions including "The Reluctant Dragon," "Mr. Popper’s Penguins" and "Seussical."
Today, Andy serves as managing director of the IAN Hub at the Center for the Future of Learning, where he helps design innovative learning experiences and community-centered programs for young people across Nevada. He also serves as vice chairman of the Nevada Arts Council Board. Whether in a rehearsal room, classroom, theater or community space, Andy believes deeply in the power of collaboration, creativity and helping people see themselves inside the stories they tell.
And while training dolphins is no longer at the top of his résumé, he remains open to unexpected opportunities, theatrical magic and ambitious ideas that bring people together.
