As we honor , we not only reflect on a pivotal moment in American history, but also celebrate Black culture, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice.

At AFSP, we recognize that mental health is deeply connected to the lived experiences of identity, community, and history. The legacy of systemic injustice continues to impact the mental health and well-being of Black communities today. It’s why our commitment to equity in mental health advocacy, resources, and care must be unwavering.

👏 Let's congratulate AFSP Nevada Overnight Walk team captain Glenn for raising over $3,000! Glenn and team member Peter traveled to Chicago last weekend to participate in the Overnight, a 17-mile walk benefiting su***de prevention. After losing his niece Rachael to su***de in 2017, Glenn was inspired to participate in the Overnight, and it's become an annual tradition for him.

Glenn is building up the AFSP Nevada team for next year's Overnight Walk. Want to join? Be the first to know when the 2027 Overnight Walk is announced: theovernight.org/SaveASpot

Asking for help is a sign of strength — not weakness. As we move through , know that you're never a burden and it's OK to not feel OK.

These 4 actions can help improve your mental health and have you feeling back on top of your game again.

If you don't know where to start, you can call or text 988, the su***de & crisis hotline, 24/7 and talk with someone ready to help you. You're worth it.
