• How: They are having an On-The-Spot Hiring Event on Feb 11, 2026, from 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM at 980 Kelly Johnson Dr.
• Requirement: You MUST register online first at careers.mgmresorts.com. No walk-ins!

2. Warehouse & Logistics (NLV)
• Capstone Logistics:
• How: Go to www.capstone.jobs and search "Las Vegas."
• Pro-Tip: They have a "Warehouse Clerk" position open right now starting at $17.50–$20/hr and they pay weekly.
• Home Depot Distribution:
• How: Apply at careers.homedepot.com.
• The Catch: You have to take a 17-minute online assessment right after you apply. If you don't pass the test, the system blocks you for 6 months, so tell them to take it seriously!

3. Medical Transportation (Driver & Transporter)
• WHC LV, LLC (zTrip Medical Driver):
• How: Apply on Indeed or their portal at whc-lv-llc.prismhr-hire.com.
• Note: This is perfect for people who want a company car and to earn $55k–$65k/year.
• Sunrise Hospital (Patient Transporter):
• How: Go to careers.hcahealthcare.com and search "Sunrise Hospital."
• Requirement: You need a BLS (Basic Life Support) card. If you don't have one, tell them to mention they are willing to get certified immediately!

• Event Security: With convention season heating up, companies like Live Nation (EDC Staffing) are starting their seasonal hiring. Great for extra cash!

2. 📦 WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS
• Capstone Logistics (North Las Vegas): Hiring Warehouse Associates. Pay is $19-$24/hr and they pay WEEKLY.

1. Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA)
• The Big News: They are opening the 2026 Waitlist for Public Housing and Project-Based Vouchers.
• When: Starts Monday, Jan 26, 2026, at 8:00 AM and closes Feb 9.
• How to Apply: Applications must be done online at onlineportal.snvrha.org.
• Locations included: New communities on Duncan & Edwards and 28th & Sunrise.

2. Clark County Social Service (CHAP)
• Services: Help with rent, utilities, and eviction prevention for residents facing financial hardship.
• How to Apply: Go to chap.clarkcountynv.gov or visit the Pinto Lane office.

3. The Just One Project (Community Connect)
• Services: Short-term financial assistance for rent/utilities and landlord mediation to stop evictions.
• Action: Requires an appointment. Visit thejustoneproject.org to get on their schedule.

4. Nevada Medicaid Housing Support (New for 2026)

The Resource: Friday Food Pantries & Emergency Groceries.

The Spots to Hit Today:
1. Restoration and Recovery Foundation: 28 W. Owens Ave. (11 AM – 1 PM). No eligibility requirements—just pull up!

2. James Boys & Girls Club: 2530 E. Carey Ave. (2 PM – 5 PM). Great for families—bring a photo ID.

3. StreeHeat Ministries: 3925 N. Martin Luther King Blvd. (Open until 4 PM).

The "EbonyGotIt" Tip: If you have kids, don't forget to ask about the BackPack Program or Kids Cafe. These programs send extra food home specifically for the weekend so your babies don't go hungry while school is out.

The "EbonyGotIt" Tip: Most people wait until the power is already out to ask for help. But did you know that agencies like HELP of Southern Nevada and HopeLink have emergency funds specifically for people who have received a shut-off notice?

The Requirements (Have these ready!):
1. Your most recent NV Energy or Southwest Gas bill.
2. Proof of income for everyone in the house (last 30 days).
3. Nevada ID matching the address on the bill.

The Resource: The Chapman CARES program and NV Housing Search.

The "EbonyGotIt" Tip: Most people wait until the Constable is at the door. Don't do that. There are emergency funds available for Clark County residents, but you have to have your paperwork (Lease, ID, and Ledger) ready before you apply.

The Resource: Nevada Medicaid "Member Portal" & Redetermination 🏥

The "EbonyGotIt" Tip: If you’ve moved in the last year, Medicaid might be sending your renewal paperwork to your old house. If you don't send it back, they WILL cut your insurance off.

What you need to do TODAY:
1. Log into https://www.google.com/search?q=UpdateMyAddressNV.com (or the DWSS portal).
2. Make sure your phone number and mailing address are 100% correct.
3. Check your mail daily for that "yellow envelope"!

Confused? The paperwork can be 20 pages long and stressful. Don’t ignore it—bring it to me. I’m at the Belrose District Office area helping people get this DONE.
