WNC is a women's social club that provides friendship and support for all women in the Las Vegas area.

We provide friendship and support through a wide array of activities. With over 20 Special Interest Groups, there is something for every taste and temperament. If you peruse our calendar of events, you will fin

d that we can keep you engaged almost every day of the month. Once a month, on the second Wednesday, we hold a General Meeting followed by a luncheon and program for our members and guests. The locations, such as country clubs, casino banquet rooms and distinguished restaurants in the area, are as varied as the entertainment, including local officials and luminaries that only Las Vegas can provide.

🌵 Gardens Galore – July Meeting 🌵

Our Gardens Galore group enjoyed a wonderful July meeting with special guest speaker Nita Burrow, who shared her knowledge of cacti, desert plants, and practical gardening tips for thriving in the Las Vegas climate.

Thank you, Nita, for an engaging and informative presentation, and thank you to everyone who joined us for another morning of learning, friendship, and gardening inspiration. We always leave with new ideas and a greater appreciation for the beauty of our desert landscape!

🎶 WNC Takes on the Dennis Bono Show! 🎶

Our WNC ladies enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the Dennis Bono Show, one of Las Vegas’ favorite live entertainment traditions! The show featured fantastic music, talented guest performers, and plenty of laughs, making it a memorable outing for everyone.

As always, the best part was spending time together—catching up with friends, welcoming new faces, and creating more WNC memories.

To top off a perfect day, many of the ladies gathered afterward for a delicious meal at the South Point Garden Buffet, where the conversations and laughter continued.

WNC’s Classy Chicas had a fabulous Friday night! 🇲🇽🎨

We spent the evening at the Mexican Consulate enjoying a celebration of Hispanic women’s art and culture—from poetry and music to beautiful artwork that brought stories to life. As an added bonus, we were treated to delicious tacos and refreshing drinks!

One of the highlights of the evening was meeting Ms. Patricia Cortes Guevara, the Mexican Consul, who was delighted to learn about WNC and our Classy Chicas group. She welcomed our interest in Mexican culture and invited us back for future events.

And of course, no Classy Chicas gathering would be complete without a little friendly competition… Congratulations to Ethel, our Lotería champion! 🎉👏

What a fun evening of culture, conversation, and great company!

☀️ Beat the Heat with WNC! ☀️

When the Las Vegas temperatures climb, we just take our walk indoors! Our Urban Trails & Coffee group enjoyed a 45-minute stroll through the Miracle Mile Shops before relaxing over lunch in the Food Court. Of course, no visit would be complete without a little shopping to top off the afternoon!

Good company, plenty of steps, air conditioning, and lots of laughs—it was another fabulous WNC day. Who says you can’t stay active all summer?

Chef for a Day: Summer Salads Edition 🥗☀️

Fresh flavors, great company, and plenty of laughter made this month’s Chef for a Day a delicious success!

Our talented WNC chefs created an amazing variety of summer salads while the rest of us enjoyed a relaxing afternoon filled with good food, great conversation, and lots of smiles.

A special thank you to Lane for graciously opening her home and hosting such a wonderful afternoon. We can’t wait to do it again! 💚🍴

🍔 WNC Burger Night was a sizzling success!

Good food, great conversations, and plenty of laughter made for another wonderful evening together. From juicy burgers and crispy fries to salads and sliders, everyone found something to enjoy—but as always, it was the friendships around the table that were the real highlight.

It was wonderful to see familiar faces, welcome newer members, and watch conversations flow from one end of the table to the other. These casual evenings are a great reminder that some of the best WNC memories are made over a simple meal shared with good company.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening so much fun. We can’t wait to do it again!

☕✨ Our very first WNC Café Society was a success!

There’s nothing better than great coffee, great conversation, and welcoming new faces. We loved gathering at Café Lola, supporting a local small business, and spending a relaxing Saturday morning together.

A special thank you to our President, Linda, for making time to visit every table and connect with everyone.

This is just the beginning! We can’t wait to explore more local coffee shops throughout Las Vegas.

¡Olé! What a fun afternoon at Mojarra Loca Grill! 🌮🎶

Our WNC ladies enjoyed a wonderful afternoon La Mojarra Loca where delicious Mexican food, great conversation, and lots of laughter were definitely on the menu! From chips and salsa to flavorful entrées and sweet desserts, every bite was worth it. The surprise margarita’s were the perfect extra touch to our fiesta!
But then, just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the mariachi band arrived! Before long there was singing, clapping, laughter, and smiles all around. It was one of those afternoons where nobody seemed to be in a hurry to leave.
A special thank you to Jeanne Bavaro, our Vice President of Luncheons, for once again finding a wonderful restaurant and organizing another fantastic gathering. Jeanne always knows how to bring us together for great food and even better company.
Until next time… we’ll happily keep saying “Yes!” whenever Jeanne asks, “Who’s coming to the luncheon?” 😉🌮💙

🌟 Get to Know Your WNC Board President, Linda Egge 🌟

For 22 years, Linda has helped shape WNC into the vibrant organization it is today. From volunteering as Hiking Chair at her very first New Member Coffee to serving in numerous leadership roles—including President—her passion for WNC has never wavered.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Linda retired from FedEx and spent three years traveling the country in a motorhome before settling in Las Vegas. Today, she enjoys traveling, teaching American Mahjongg, singing, crocheting, playing the ukulele, and spending time with family and friends.

A few fun facts about Linda:
☕ Can’t live without coffee
🩰 Former ballerina and ballet teacher
🀄 Has taught Mahjongg to more than 200 women
🌎 Has visited all 7 continents

Her advice for new members:
“Jump right in and get involved!”

From gentle stretches and chair yoga to fun partner exercises that challenged both our bodies and our minds, there was plenty of movement—and lots of laughter along the way.

No matter your experience level, WNC Yoga is a welcoming place to improve your wellness, meet new friends, and leave feeling refreshed.
