Hope for Youth Peru

Hope for Youth is a spiritually based corporation in Trujillo, Peru. We reach out to the high risk We reach at risk youth who have lost all hope.

Encouraging young men and women to enable themselves to reach their full potential socially and spiritually. Our aim is to show them their value and teach them they can excel in life through the strength Christ gives them.

We had an Amazing 1st Friday in downtown LV. Still have a few handmade guys left. Christmas is coming and all procceds go right back to the young men and women in Peru

Our boys have been having fun putting their love and creativity into making these cute crochet stuffed animals.

And they can’t wait for you all to see them in person. We have decided to bring them to the states and sell them with proceeds going to the youth.

¡Feliz Dia de la Independencia, Peru!

In honor of Independence Day for Peru yesterday, we had a competition of all things Peruvian in inside the center. We were so impressed by the creativity.

Items as simple as socks are so much appreciated and bring the boys in the center much happiness and comfort.

Because of you all, our donors, we are able to provide the boys with items that we look at as just a simple necessity. But today, the boys were treating these simple gifts as a luxury.

We’ve recently launched our Friday night youth groups and not only do we meet at the Hope for Youth House for Bible study, we also step outside the house to do team building and team bonding activities.

Our group loves to play soccer, they all get really into it.

Sunday Service at the Hope for Youth House!

We have been blessed with the opportunity to host Sunday service at the house. We have youth, neighbors and our Hope for Youth family attend.

Here, were able to share one of our favorite parts of service, worship!

Boys Bible study!

This has been on our hearts and in God’s plan for our ministry to host and gather young men in the Hope for Youth house to study the word of God. And it has finally come to fruition! Praise the Lord!

We had our first Bible study and it was more than we could have ever prayer for.

It was youth lead and such an amazing time for all.

All the boys were learning new things, sharing their own stories and discovered things about themselves and the Lord that they never thought they would.

We will be hosting once a week and we can’t wait to keep you all updated on the wonderful things to come during these gatherings.

Feliz Día de Padre 💙

Yesterday we were preparing and hosting Fathers Day inside the youth detention center. We made goodies, decorated, had a special lunch and gave words of advice and encouragement to our young fathers who are not able to see their children on this special day.

We’re working with our young fathers through counseling and the word of God to help them break the cycle and be great examples and role models for their children.

Happy Fathers Day to all of the fathers out there!

We’re so proud of our boys. They said they wanted to cook so we help provide them with uniforms and they did the rest.

They made desserts for the staff and boys in the detention center and they were amazing! We’re so proud of you.

We take so much pride in helping our boys learn new skills that they can take outside the center with them and on the right path in life.

The boys are so happy to see Iliana back in the center.

It’s bitter sweet to see some old and new faces. But the mission stays the same; giving them hope when they need it the most.
