The Dream Team was proud to represent Walker County at yesterday's Houston Regional Economic Development Alliance meeting in League City, Texas! 🤩

Regional leaders came together to discuss economic growth, workforce development, and the importance of aligning education with the needs of industry. We were especially proud to have our very own Jonathan Thomas, Director of Strategic Partnerships & Technology Transfer of Sam Houston State University, join the Regional Workforce Panel and represent our region in the conversation.

Collaboration like this is how we continue building a stronger workforce and economy across our region!

What an incredible day at our Walker County EDC Eco Dev/Board Workshop!

We were thrilled to see such a great turnout as board members, community leaders, and partners came together to strengthen our understanding of economic development and explore the opportunities that lie ahead for Walker County. These conversations are essential as we work together to attract quality jobs, support existing businesses, and create a strong foundation for long-term growth.
