When a loved one begins to experience memory loss, families are often faced with difficult decisions and an uncertain path forward.
During Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, we recognize the individuals and families navigating Alzheimer’s disease and other cognitive illnesses, while bringing awareness to the importance of early conversations and understanding how care needs may evolve over time. It is also a reminder that families do not have to navigate these decisions without support.
At Nevada Guardian Services, we serve individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other cognitive illnesses by working closely with care providers, families, and support networks to help ensure decisions are made thoughtfully and in the individual’s best interest. Each action is guided by established standards of care and a commitment to preserving dignity, continuity, and quality of life during times of needed care and support.
We are also proud to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s each year, standing alongside families, caregivers, and advocates working to raise awareness, support research, and bring hope to those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.
If you are making care decisions for a loved one experiencing Alzheimer’s disease or cognitive decline, our team can help guide the process.
