Come run or walk alongside Special Olympics Nevada athletes, Nevada State Police, and Nye County Sheriff's Office as we carry the Flame of Hope through Pahrump and show what inclusion looks like in our community. Building a more inclusive future, one school at a time!

Special Olympics Nevada is excited to announce a $12,500 grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation in support of our Unified Champion Schools program!

Through the U.S. Bank initiative, this generous funding will help us expand opportunities for students with and without intellectual disabilities to learn, play, and lead together.

Our Unified Champion Schools program brings students of all abilities together through inclusive sports, youth leadership, and schoolwide engagement, creating a culture of acceptance, friendship, and belonging.

Douglas County Shows Up for Special Olympics Nevada!

Our Douglas County community came together for an incredible Tip-A-Cop event, raising $4,568 for Special Olympics Nevada! A huge THANK YOU to our Douglas County law enforcement officers who traded their badges for serving trays, our restaurant partners, and everyone who came out to support our athletes!

We are so grateful for our amazing Law Enforcement Torch Run officers and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office - Nevada community for continuing to champion inclusion and show our athletes what it means to have a community cheering them on! Together, we're making a difference, one tip at a time! 🎉

From her daily morning stretches to dancing barefoot at courtyard music nights, leading the Healthy Hearts Walking Club along the Truckee River, and sharing stories with local students, Maggie proves that the real secret to longevity isn't just adding years to your life—it’s pouring life into your years.
