No child should go hungry during summer break. Free meals are available for ALL children 18 years old and younger across Nevada — no registration, ID, or questions asked.

🎉 The countdown to summer is on, Falcons! 🦅💙💛

We are excited to celebrate our students during our upcoming Promotion Assemblies and Grade Level Awards at Forbuss Elementary! Please review the calendar for dates and times of each celebration.

📬 Invitations and event instructions for:
• Kindergarten Promotion
• 5th Grade Promotion
• Grade Level Awards Assemblies

will be sent home with students this week.

📍 All events will take place in the Multipurpose Room (MP Room).

🚫 Friendly Reminder: Balloons are not permitted inside the building or MP Room.

Thank you for the early mornings, late-night homework help, packed lunches, hugs, encouragement, volunteer hours, and endless love you pour into our students each and every day.

Today we celebrate the women who help our Falcons soar higher, dream bigger, and feel supported every step of the way. 🦅✨

We’re wrapping up an incredible week of gratitude with our final mission of the galaxy! 💙💛

Friday is all about celebrating our amazing Forbuss staff with kindness straight from the heart. Whether it’s a handmade card, a friendship bracelet, flowers picked from the yard, a favorite family recipe, or a simple thank you note, every act of appreciation helps remind our staff just how loved they are. 🌎⭐

🎨 Homemade Hero Day
Students are encouraged to create something meaningful for a staff member who has made a difference in their life. Big or small, heartfelt gifts and words mean the world to our teachers and staff.

Wear your House Planet colors proudly as we close out Staff Appreciation Week together!

Tomorrow we celebrate the incredible heroes who help make Forbuss shine every single day! 💫

From our front office team, custodians, aides, specialists, cafeteria staff, librarians, counselors, support professionals, and so many others… these amazing individuals keep our galaxy running smoothly behind the scenes every day. 🚀✨

🦸‍♀️ THURSDAY SPIRIT DAY:
Dress like a HERO!
Whether it’s a galaxy-inspired look, your favorite superhero colors, or simply someone you admire, we can’t wait to see our Falcons show their heroic spirit!

💙 GRATITUDE MISSION:
Students are encouraged to recognize an “Unsung Hero” at our school by:
⭐ Writing a thank you note
⭐ Drawing a picture
⭐ Completing their gratitude mission sheet
⭐ Bringing a small snack or drink to show appreciation

Sometimes the quietest heroes make the biggest difference. Let’s make sure they feel celebrated tomorrow! 🌌

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing partners at LVMPD for helping keep the Forbuss staff fueled for Staff Appreciation Week with an out-of-this-galaxy hydration station!

From energy drinks and iced coffee to waters, protein shakes, cheese sticks, and healthy snacks, our staff now has everything they need to power through the galaxy and continue making magic for our students every single day. 💙💛

Even our favorite little droid stopped by to make sure the refreshments were ready for launch. 🤖🌌

The Force is strong with our community, and we are so grateful for partners who continue to show up for our Falcon family.

Our staff loved today’s treats, and the smiles across campus said it all. From colorful donuts to incredible community support, Pinkbox truly helped fuel our educators for hyperspace this week! 💙💛
