It’s Moo-nday and Mae is on the moo-ve 🏃‍♀️

If you remember, our sweet girl was recommended to lose some weight over the last few months. This is a recent pic taken by volunteer _kat.the.vegan_ of a little less of Mae- she’s lost some lbs on her health journey and loves to play with her bestie Daisy to help keep her active.

It’s also helped to reduce her snack intake, no matter how much she pouts 😅

providing this summer feast of natural electrolytes 💚❤️

While our residents beat the heat with sweet treats-
🌱we encourage volunteers to eat beforehand,
bring a light snack, stay hydrated and wear sun 😎 protection/ protective clothing/ hats/ visors/ sunglasses, take breaks in the shade-

And… STAY HYDRATED!!!
💧 Bring a back up water bottle
🥶 have one ready to squeeze and one to freeze!
💦 Sports drink/ electrolyte mixers/ salt tablets whatever you like to add to your water-
🥵It is 110+ degrees!!!!!!!!

Bonus tip: clean out your fridge on the way!
🗑️Got produce past its prime?
🍽️ Bring it along for the ride!
🚨 ALWAYS ASK first before handing out snacks and we can direct you to who might love those 🍌brown bananas or mushy melon

🥾 Please wear closed toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

🫂We appreciate you staying the entire time, but never expect it, any time you can spare is extremely appreciated.

🪏Help us rake/clean the residents’ areas, scrub pools & water troughs, finish special projects, and spend time with the animals.

🫶Every Wednesday, we welcome volunteers to help out with animal care for our 170+ rescue “farm” animals of survivors, special needs and stories saved from testing, neglect and cruelty -all living their best lives at the sanctuary.

Join us on any/every Wednesday to help out with animal care for our 170+ rescued cows, pigs, goats, sheep, turkeys, ducks, chickens, turtles and tortoises!

🕷️ We are speechless from the support for our movie night!

🤎Thank you to everyone who came/ shared/ supported/ snacked/ showed up and showed out for our very first showing!

🎥🎞️What should we play next???

🐀🐖🐔🦃🐮All funds raised at our events go back to our 170+ rescue sanctuary animals-
cows, goats, sheeps, ducks, turtles, tortoises, pigs, chickens and turkeys who have come from various situations of abuse, abandonment, shelters or guardian surrenders when former families had to rehome.
