What a delightful surprise! Lost Souls MC Las Vegas arrived with multiple cases of water that they generously collected and donated to our Red Shield Shelter.

We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming Red Shield Chef Showdown!

Thursday, September 10th
Blind Center of Nevada

Join us for a fantastic evening filled with mouthwatering food and live jazz, all while supporting The Salvation Army Southern Nevada.

Guests will kick off the night with a delightful hors d’oeuvres reception, followed by a sumptuous four-course dinner where our two executive chefs will compete for the title of best main course, finishing off the evening with live entertainment by Christine Shebeck local singing phenomenal Christine Shebeck.

The funds raised from this event will make a significant difference, helping us provide thousands of meals each month to Veterans, participants in our vocational programs, those in our Adult Rehabilitation Center, and community members who rely on the Salvation Army for a hot meal every day.

As we complete our backpacks distribution for this year at our Henderson Corp we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Family Services team, volunteers, and community partners, Walmart and City of Henderson employees, for their invaluable support during our annual back-to-school distribution in Henderson to help supply Henderson students with everything they need to start the school year off right!

Their assistance has been instrumental in helping The Salvation Army serve the needs of the Henderson student community effectively.

Today’s back-to-school distribution was an exciting event, filled with joy as many students from our community received the supplies they need to kick off a new school year eager to learn.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our Family Services team, Salvation Army employees, and our wonderful community partners, including Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Vegas PBS Celebrate Dental & Braces - Las Vegas Miracle Minds Therapy and Vegas Athletics Stomper for their invaluable support in making this event a success!

We truly appreciate the generosity of our community, whose donations have played a crucial role in helping students get ready for the upcoming school year!
