🤍 Four-year-old Theodora had one thing on her mind during her trip to Rome: she was going to meet Pope Leo XIV!

From excited conversations with flight attendants to a moment she'll never forget, this journey became so much more than her family expected.

When the time finally came, Pope Leo XIV warmly greeted Theodora and her mom, Tristan, and blessed Theodora with the sign of the cross. Together, they presented him with a one-of-a-kind Las Vegas Raiders jersey personalized with his name and signed by the entire Raiders team. 🏈

But what touched Tristan most was a simple act of kindness. After accepting the jersey, Pope Leo took both of her hands and gently reminded her to be careful in the sun. In the middle of such an extraordinary occasion, he took a personal moment to show he cared.

Reflecting on the experience, Tristan shared five words that say it all:

"He has my heart and my soul." 🤍

At Zo's Bravehearts Foundation, we are honored to walk alongside our Bravehearts and their families through both life's challenges and life's beautiful, unexpected moments. Watching Tristan and Theodora experience this blessing together is something we will treasure forever.

For months, three-year-old Autumn talked about meeting Pope Leo XIV. To her, he was “the king,” St. Peter’s Basilica was his castle, and everywhere she went in Rome, she wanted to know if it was “the Pope’s house.” 🤍

Four-year-old Theodora was just as excited, proudly telling a flight attendant on the way to Rome all about where she was going and how much she loved the Pope.

Then, they met him.

During the General Audience in St. Peter’s Square, Pope Leo XIV stopped to personally meet and bless our Bravehearts.

Theodora became completely still as he blessed her forehead before she and her mother, Tristan, presented him with a signed Las Vegas Raiders jersey.

Autumn stood on her own to hand him a signed Vegas Golden Knights jersey as her mother, Alex, shared a little about her journey.

For their mothers, watching their daughters receive those blessings was a moment of faith, love, and hope that meant something different to each of them.

This is part of what it means to be an extension of the family at Zo’s Bravehearts Foundation: walking alongside our Bravehearts through the hardest days, while also helping create moments of joy and hope that remind them how much life there is to experience.

A moment these families will carry with them forever. 🤍

💛 Standing Beside Our Bravehearts Families Nevada Trust Company

We are incredibly grateful to the employees of Nevada Trust Company for coming together to create hospital go-bags and welcome baskets for our Bravehearts families.

When a child is fighting cancer, life can abruptly change at a moment's notice. An unexpected hospital visit can mean leaving home quickly, without time to pack or think about the little things you may need once they arrive. Having a bag ready with toothbrushes, snacks, refillable water bottles, and everyday essentials gives families one less thing to think about during an already overwhelming moment.

The team also prepared welcome baskets with medical booties, masks, and items families can keep near their front door for visitors. For children in treatment whose immune systems may be especially fragile, protecting their home environment is an important part of helping them stay safe and healthy.
There is so much a family carries when a child is going through cancer treatment. Sometimes support looks like making sure that when they have to rush to the hospital, a bag is already waiting. Sometimes it looks like helping make home feel a little safer when they return.

To the employees of Nevada Trust Company, thank you for putting your time and hearts into caring for our families in such a meaningful and practical way. Your kindness reminds our families that they have a community standing beside them through every part of this journey. 💛🎗️

A movie, some popcorn, lots of laughter, and a night to just be a kid. 🎬🍿

We’re so grateful to Station Casinos - Red Rock, and Regal for helping Zoe’s Bravehearts Foundation create another special memory for a family we’re honored to support.

Sometimes Moms need a little time for themselves too. Today, Monica and Mackenzie‘s Mom, Michelle, took a break for a ladies brunch - good food, conversations, laughter, and the little time to simply be themselves.✨

As back to school season begins we want to remind every Mom that taking care of yourself matters too. Make time to reconnect and enjoy the little things without feeling guilty.

At Zo’s Bravehearts Foundation, we believe normalcy means creating moments that feel like life again for the whole family.
Because sometimes a brunch with a friend is more than a brunch, it’s a moment to simply be you.💚

Sometimes, creating normalcy means simply giving a family a day to laugh, explore, and enjoy being together. 💚

For families facing the unimaginable, the difficult moments can become the center of everyday life. At Zo’s Bravehearts Foundation, we believe they deserve moments that feel different — moments filled with laughter, excitement, new experiences, and memories they can carry with them.

Our morning at KTNV Channel 13 Las Vegas with Elijah, Isaiah, and their mom was exactly that. A chance to step away from the difficult days and simply be a family.

Halloween… in July?! 🎃✨🦖 Are you kidding?!

If there’s one thing kids never say no to, it’s dressing up, trick-or-treating, candy, and a little bit of magic. For many of our Bravehearts, Halloween can be missed because of hospital stays and treatment, so we brought the fun to them with our very own Summerween!💚🧙🏼‍♀️

Watching our Bravehearts trick-or-treat through themed rooms, collect candy, dance the day away, and share so many smiles in the middle of July was a reminder that the magic of Halloween isn’t about the date—it’s about the memories we create together. That magic was only possible because of the incredible people who came together to make Summerween so special.

A heartfelt thank you to Make-A-Wish for bringing Beauty and the Beast to life, Sara Bauer from Brown-Forman for joining us with her two sons, our amazing board member Monika and her sons for creating an unforgettable How to Train Your Dragon experience, the Vegas Golden Knights Girls for spending the day with our families, Sysco Las Vegas, in collaboration with Famous Dave’s, for keeping everyone well fed, Toya from ToyssFoundation for bringing the energy to our dance room as our DJ, and Dino Motorsports for making our car show extra special with a stunning blue Porsche.⚡️

Thank you for making Summerween one of the happiest days of the summer. Because of you, our Bravehearts got to experience the magic of Halloween—no matter what month it was. 🎉💛🦖

Kindness Lives Here 💚

Our team had the privilege of welcoming one of our newest Bravehearts families. We stopped by the home with delicious treats from Café Breizh, a few fun gifts for the kids, and—most importantly—the chance to spend time together.

While we spoke with Mom, Sadie stayed close to the younger kids, helping them open their gifts and showing them how each one worked. Mom shared that Sadie looks after her siblings whenever she can, because when she’s in treatment, they wait on her night and day. Their love for her is unmistakable, and seeing her with enough energy today to help them meant a lot to everyone.

Sadie also shared her love for anime and photography, told us about her dream of becoming a marine biologist, and showed us the book she’s currently enjoying.
Her kindness, curiosity, and quiet strength filled the room with something truly special.
