Using basic circus techniques for at risk youth to teach them fundamental values of self esteem, self confidence, teamwork and empathy.

The Social CirKISH is a program created to promote mental, physical, emotional, psychological, and social development with at-risk youth by encouraging students to enjoy safe and fulfilling “risk-taking” activities through the exploration and participation of circus exercises and acts. Students are encouraged to express their minds and ideas to increase self-awareness and acceptance while also int

eracting and participating with their peers in a number of activities that support and require teamwork and collaboration.

This video highlights the work that was made possible through the support of the Nevada Arts Council and their 2025–2026 Arts Learning Project Grant hosted at the East Las Vegas Library. We are also incredibly grateful to the John C. Kish Foundation for providing matching support.

Throughout the course of this grant, students participated in workshops, performances, creative activities, and community experiences that encouraged artistic growth, confidence, collaboration, and creativity. This video captures some of those meaningful moments ❤️🎪

Starting the summer off strong with a one-week intensive to get all of our acts performance-ready! ☀️🎪 We had an amazing day working on both our opening act and our finale, and we’re so excited to see everything coming together.

There is something truly special about the work of Nevada Ballet. Their productions continue to be forward-thinking, modern, and deeply inspiring. is especially grateful that through the support of the John C. Kish Foundation, some of our students, volunteers, and educators had the opportunity to experience their amazing production of Hansel and Gretel.
