We are saddened & heartbroken to hear the news of the passing of our brother Brad Bemis, Mr Gay America 1988. Brad passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024 while surrounded by loved ones.
Brad was a talented singer, reigning as Mr. Gay Indiana America 1987 & Mr. Gay America (then Mr. Gay All-American) 1988. Medallionizing Patrick Boyd in 1989.
Brad was a pioneer in our system & male pageantry who will be missed dearly.
Our prayers go out to his family & loved ones during this time.

News is emerging, but the Miss Gay Missouri America is saddened by the loss of a legend from our state. Roger / Vicki Vincent was among the first to bring home the national title of Miss Gay America. Our thoughts are with her family, friends and fan base. Forever in our hearts
