JUNIOR STARS CAPTURE JUNIOR CITY AM TITLES

A victory at the Las Vegas Junior City Amateur creates an indelible lifetime memory, and Sophia Medlin, Stryker Leick, Charlotte Halstead, and Zitong Spark Lin, earned trophies in 2026 at Las Vegas Golf Club. The event was part of Las Vegas City Am Week presented by Nevada Golf.

Our popular Southern Nevada Junior Golf Mini Tour is getting gets into golf in a fun, competitive and relaxed way, and was part of Las Vegas City Am Week at Las Vegas Golf Club.

The Tour is an intro to tournament golf and our kids are moving up to the regular Tour.

GORMAN SWEEPS STATE!

It all came down to the final hole and putt, and the 2026 5A Nevada State Golf Championship was on the line … and when Bishop Gorman’s Colby Hutton rolled in a birdie putt at Boulder Cree golf club, he clinched medalist honors and the team title for his gaels by one shot over Coronado.

Hutton won by two shots over 5A Southern Region champ Tripp Hildreth from Palo Verde and McQueen’s Zack Peterson.

Gorman avenged a loss to Coronado in the 2026 Southern Region champioinship with the hard-fought victory, after authoring one of the most exciting finishes in Nevada High School golf history. Palo Verde finished third.
