Today, the NAMI Southern Nevada family mourns the passing of our friend and dedicated leader, Tom McCourt.

Tom devoted years of service to NAMI Southern Nevada, including service as a Board member, helping strengthen our mission to provide hope, education, advocacy, and support for individuals and families affected by mental health conditions. As a proud veteran, he also understood the importance of ensuring those who served our country had access to support, and mental health resources.

His leadership and commitment to improving mental health across Nevada touched countless lives.

We are grateful for Tom’s service and the lasting impact he leaves on our organization and our community.

Please join us in honoring Tom’s memory and keeping his family, friends, and all who knew him in your thoughts during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Tom. Your legacy of service and advocacy will never be forgotten.

Do you have a loved one living with a mental health condition? Turn your lived experience into hope and support for others by becoming a NAMI Family Support Group Facilitator.

Join this virtual two-day training and learn how to lead NAMI's free, peer-led Family Support Groups for family members, caregivers, and loved ones of individuals living with mental health conditions.
