The Hispanic International Day Parade of Nevada Inc was incorporated in March of 2004 as a 501c4 non-profit corporation. Its first parade in 2004 was televised and re-broadcast, for an entire week, by COX Communications on Channel 27, a local Spanish station. Both Hispanic and non-Hispanic groups participated, including representatives from Brazil, the Philippines and Italy. The African American Community was also represented through the NAACP’s participation in the parade.
