The National Association of Handymen has been advocating for the handyman since 2009 while raising industry standards through education, screening and verification. 3 levels of memberships including Registered, Verified and Certified License Programs. The UHA was founded in 2009 by Flash Shelton who started his first Handyman Business in 1983 to be an advocate for the handyman, Industry and the co

nsumer to help regulate and improve the home repair industry. Becoming certified with the UHA means that the business is properly structured and fully protected to be able to offer a quality of service that should be expected by the consumer. The UHA is a resource for the customer to screen their handyman or find a new UHA screened and verified handyman. We believe you should know who you are hiring. If we certify them we back them with our fraud protection guarantee.
