The Springs Church - Las Vegas, NV

The Springs Church - Las Vegas, NV We are a multicultural, multigenerational Christian Church located in northwest Las Vegas, NV. You are welcome here! Sunday Worship Service at 10am!

We're a multicultural, multigenerational Christian church located in northwest Las Vegas, NV. We desire to be the kind of church described in the Bible, where there’s relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. We’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one li

fe at a time. We believe that God has called us to be a place of spiritual refreshment and revival in the midst of a dry land. The promise we cling to is found in Isaiah 43:19, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." For purposes of connection and accountability, we're part of the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and the Association of Related Churches (ARC).

Faith doesn't mean pretending the fire isn't hot.

Sometimes worship looks like singing when everything is going right.

But sometimes worship looks like saying:

“God, this hurts. I don't understand it. I don't know what happens next… but I still trust You.”

You don't have to deny the storm to have faith.

You can grieve and still worship.
You can struggle and still trust.
You can have questions and still believe God is good.

Because true worship isn't built on what God does for us.

It's built on who God is.

The storm may not stop, but God gives us somewhere to stand in it.

Yes, I will praise.

God can handle your honesty.

Sometimes we think worship means coming to God with the right words, the right attitude, and everything figured out.

But Psalm 13 shows us something different.

David brings his questions, pain, frustration, and disappointment directly to God. He doesn't hide what he's feeling, but he also doesn't stop trusting God's character.

Honest worship doesn't mean we have no questions. It means we bring our questions to God.

You can tell Him when you're hurting.
You can tell Him when you're disappointed.
You can tell Him when you don't understand.

And even in the middle of those things, you can choose to trust His unfailing love.

Today, don't hide your heart from God.

Bring it to Him.

Day 10 | Honest Worship
📖 Psalm 13

“Father, help me speak honestly with You and continue trusting Your unfailing love.”

What does worship look like when the storm doesn't stop?

Sometimes faith means celebrating what God has done. But sometimes faith looks like worshiping Him while you're still waiting, still hurting, and still asking questions.

In Psalm 71, we see a picture of a faith that looks backward, forward, and right now:

We look back and remember God's faithfulness.
We look forward with hope for what He will do.
And right now, we run to Him as our refuge.

True worship doesn't require us to pretend everything is okay. We can grieve and still trust. We can lament and still worship. We can acknowledge the pain while holding on to the character of God.

The storm may not stop, but God gives us somewhere to stand in it.

And because He has been faithful, we can make a choice before the next storm ever comes:

Yes, I will praise.

Not because we know what tomorrow holds, but because we know who holds us.

Can you praise God when you have no idea what He is doing?

Habakkuk didn't pretend that everything was okay. He looked at circumstances that gave him very little reason to celebrate, yet he made a choice:

“Yet I will rejoice in the Lord.”

Faith doesn't mean ignoring pain, loss, or disappointment. It means bringing those things honestly before God and choosing to trust Him even when we don't understand.

Sometimes worship sounds like celebration.

Other times, worship sounds like:

“God, I don't understand this, but I still trust You.”

Our circumstances may change, but God's character does not.

When there is nothing else to hold onto, He remains our joy and strength.

Day 9 | Yet I Will Rejoice
📖 Habakkuk 3:17–19

“God, even when I do not understand what You are doing, help me find my joy and strength in You.”

Today we are in week 4 of our "This is Worship" series and we will be talking about worship as a response to the trials we face. When the storms of life come, worship becomes more than a song—it becomes a choice to trust God even when our circumstances are painful, confusing, or unresolved. In Habakkuk 3:17–19, we see that faith can hold both struggle and praise as we remember God’s faithfulness and choose to rejoice in who He is. No matter what comes, our declaration can still be: Yes I Will.

an you worship God when life isn't going the way you hoped?

Worship is easy when life is comfortable. But Psalm 34 reminds us that God's worthiness does not change when our circumstances do.

There will be seasons of celebration.
There will be seasons of waiting.
There will be seasons of disappointment, uncertainty, and pain.

But through every season, God remains good.

David says, “I will bless the Lord at all times.” Not because everything is always good, but because God is always worthy.

We don't have to pretend that difficult seasons don't hurt. We can bring our pain, questions, and uncertainty to God while continuing to trust His character.

Today, wherever you find yourself, may your worship not be determined by your circumstances.

May we learn to praise God in every season because He never changes.

Day 8 | Praise in Every Season
📖 Psalm 34:1–8

“Lord, teach me to praise You in every season of my life.”
