ADL - Nevada

ADL - Nevada ADL is a leading anti-hate organization that was founded in 1913 in response to an escalating climate of antisemitism and bigotry.

Today, ADL is the first call when acts of antisemitism occur and continues to fight all forms of hate. ADL’s Nevada Regional office works to insure the safety of our community. From Las enforcement trainings to ADL’s No Place for Hate programs we are present in over 100 schools in Clark County. The ADL is touching lives every day to secure fair and just treatment for all, and building a foundation of respect and appreciation of our differences.

The numbers are in. ADL's 2025 Audit of Antisemitic Incidents recorded 69 antisemitic incidents in Arizona and 78 in Nevada β€” and the story behind those numbers matters. πŸ“Š

Arizona saw a meaningful 43% decline from 2024. That's real progress, and it's the result of communities, institutions and advocates taking action. Nevada, however, saw a 5% increase, making it one of only two states in the country to move in the wrong direction.

Both states share one sobering reality: 2025 was the third-highest year on record since ADL began tracking in 1979. Incidents have not returned to pre-October 7 levels. Jewish communities in our region deserve better.

We at ADL Desert join the entire ADL family and people of goodwill around the world in honoring the life of Abraham (Abe) H. Foxman, ADL National Director Emeritus, who passed away on May 10, 2026.

A Holocaust survivor who devoted 50 years to fighting antisemitism and hate, Abe served as ADL's National Director from 1987 to 2015 and became one of the world's foremost voices against bigotry. His moral authority was recognized by popes, presidents and prime ministers alike.

Abe taught us that hatred must be named, confronted and opposed at every turn. He believed the Holocaust did not begin with gas chambers but with a word, and from that foundational belief he made education and antibias training a cornerstone of ADL's work. He carried his survival not with bitterness, but with purpose.

He leaves behind both a blueprint and a challenge: to continue the work he devoted his life to. We are committed to honoring his legacy every day.

May his memory be a blessing. πŸ•―οΈ

Worshippers have been harassed & intimidated at the doors of their sacred spaces.

The bipartisan SACRED Act would establish federal protections.

No one should stumble upon hate while walking their baby through their own neighborhood. πŸ’”

Last November in Las Vegas, a woman doing exactly that discovered antisemitic graffiti scrawled on a public sidewalk. When calls to local graffiti hotlines went unanswered, ADL stepped in, worked with law enforcement to respond and ensure the hateful message was removed. 🀝

This is why every report matters. Documentation helps ADL track, respond to and combat hate in your community.

Antisemitism has no place on our sidewalks, in our schools or anywhere in our communities.
We are all responsible for the world we create together.

πŸ‘‰ If you witness or experience antisemitism or hate, report it to ADL at adl.org/report-incident.

2025 marked the one of the most violent periods for American Jews in recent history.

Three people were murdered: Two in D.C. and one in Boulder, CO.

2025 also marks the first year since 2019 during which Jewish people were murdered in the antisemitic attacks on American soil.

May the memories of Sarah Milgrim z"l, Yaron Lischinsky z"l and Karen Diamond z"l forever be a blessing.

ADL recorded a total of 6,274 incidents of antisemitic assault, harassment and vandalism across the U.S. in 2025.

That's an average of 17 incidents per day, which is more than double the average of 8 incidents per day between 2020 and 2022.
