Celebrating more than 33 years as a non-profit, DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is the top interactive Museum in Southern Nevada, welcoming all children and families to explore three complete floors filled with heart-pumping, brain-boosting, curiosity-satisfying fun, adventure, and DISCOVERY. The nonprofit educational institution relocated to Symphony Park in March 2013 and serves as Las Vegas’ only children’s Museum. The three-story Museum encompassing 26,000 square feet is complete with nine exhibition galleries featuring daily programs, demonstrations and activities, and collaborative cultural programming for all occasions. Get ready for a spooktacular morning! Join us for Ooky-Spooky Member Morning on Sunday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a Halloween celebration filled with festive crafts, a live science show, storytime, movement activities for little ones and a fun photo op! Costumes are welcome.🎃

World Space Week starts today and runs through October 9, and there’s plenty of out-of-this-world fun happening at DISCOVERY! From creating space-inspired artwork in Toddler Town and exploring retro rocket art in Young at Art to building mini straw rockets and 3-D models of NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope in Patents Pending, there’s something for every little space explorer to discover.

Whether it's your 1st visit or your 50th, there's always something new to explore, learn and experience together.

October is also National Energy Awareness Month! All month long, we're spotlighting energy science in our Energy/Energía exhibit on Level 3. Don't miss our daily Helpful Hydroelectricity program at 12:30 PM in the Presentation Space, where kids can discover how the same force that carves mountains and shapes canyons also helps power our cities!
